Description
Product Features
The A6110 is a high-precision dual-channel shaft relative vibration monitor module developed by Emerson, serving as a core machinery protection component for the AMS 6500 machinery health monitoring system. Designed for non-contact online vibration measurement of high-speed rotating equipment, it accurately collects, analyzes and processes shaft relative vibration displacement signals. Compliant with API 670 international industry standards, it provides reliable fault early warning, trend analysis and safety interlock protection for turbines, generators and large compressor units, ensuring long-term safe and stable operation of industrial core equipment.
1. Dual Independent Isolated Channels: Equipped with two fully isolated and independent signal acquisition channels, supporting synchronous vibration monitoring of two different measuring points. Each channel can be independently configured with measurement ranges and alarm parameters to meet multi-point and multi-condition monitoring requirements of complex rotating units.
2. High-precision Non-contact Measurement: Perfectly matched with eddy current proximity sensors, realizing high-resolution non-contact shaft vibration displacement detection. It features excellent linearity and low noise, which can capture tiny shaft deflection, vibration fluctuation and abnormal mechanical vibration signals that are difficult to identify by conventional equipment.
3. Standard-compliant Safety Protection Performance: Strictly designed and manufactured in accordance with API 670 industrial machinery protection specifications. It supports dual-stage warning and dangerous trip output, which can effectively monitor mechanical faults such as shaft unbalance, rotor misalignment and bearing wear, and trigger protection interlock in time to avoid major equipment accidents.
4. Flexible Configurable Working Logic: Users can freely set vibration alarm thresholds, trip delay time and signal output modes. Each channel supports independent parameter configuration, realizing refined hierarchical protection and effectively preventing false alarms and missing alarms caused by complex working condition changes.
5. Full Intelligent Self-diagnosis Mechanism: Built-in comprehensive hardware and signal self-diagnosis function. It can automatically detect module hardware abnormalities, sensor damage, cable open circuit, short circuit and signal loss faults, and upload real-time fault codes and status information to the upper monitoring system for rapid troubleshooting.
6. Industrial-grade Harsh Environment Adaptability: Adopts reinforced industrial circuit design and EMC electromagnetic shielding technology, with strong resistance to on-site electromagnetic interference, mechanical vibration, high temperature and humid environment. It supports 24/7 uninterrupted stable operation in harsh industrial production scenarios.
7. Hot-swap & Strong System Compatibility: Supports online hot-swap replacement without system shutdown, greatly reducing equipment maintenance downtime and production loss. It provides standard 4-20mA analog output and digital communication interfaces, realizing seamless connection with AMS monitoring software, DCS and SCADA systems for centralized data monitoring and intelligent management.

Product Usage Method
1. Pre-installation Inspection: Inspect the A6110 module appearance, terminals and circuit structure to confirm no damage, oxidation or loose components. Verify the matching compatibility with the AMS 6500 system and on-site eddy current sensors to meet shaft vibration monitoring requirements.
2. Static Protection Operation: Complete installation in a dry, dust-free and static-proof industrial environment. Wear professional anti-static gloves and wrist straps to prevent static discharge from damaging the internal precision sampling circuits and core chips of the module.
3. Module Installation & Fixation: Adopt online hot-swap installation without shutting down the monitoring system. Insert the A6110 module smoothly into the designated rack slot, and tighten the fixing screws to ensure stable contact with the backplane bus and avoid signal fluctuation caused by equipment vibration.
4. Sensor & System Wiring: Connect eddy current sensor signal cables, 24VDC power supply cables and communication cables strictly in accordance with official wiring specifications. Distinguish dual-channel signal interfaces to prevent wrong wiring, short circuit and signal distortion faults.
5. System Parameter Configuration: After confirming correct wiring, connect the dedicated AMS configuration software. Set vibration measurement range, sampling parameters, alarm threshold and trip interlock logic according to the rated operating parameters of on-site rotating machinery, then download and save all configuration data.
6. Function Debugging & Verification: Start the system self-diagnosis program to check module communication status, sensor connection status and vibration signal acquisition accuracy. Simulate vibration working conditions to verify alarm response sensitivity and protection function reliability.
7. Online Operation & Daily Maintenance: After passing debugging and testing, put the module into long-term online monitoring. Regularly check module operating temperature, wiring tightness and real-time vibration data stability, clean dust periodically, and back up configuration files to ensure continuous and reliable system operation.
