GE (General Electric) has introduced the IS210BAPAH1A, an Analog Processor Module (functional acronym BAPA) for the Speedtronic™ Mark VI / Mark VIe turbine control system. The board provides high-density analog signal conditioning and acquisition for gas and steam turbine prime movers AX Control Inc.abb-drive Automation.
Designed for precision measurement, the BAPA module supports 18 analog channels with signal conditioning, user-adjustable gain (1x, 2x, 4x, 8x), and 16-bit A/D conversion, enabling accurate interfacing of sensors and transducers to the turbine control logic Automation Industrial.
Key Features
- High-density analog input — 18 channels of signal-conditioned analog acquisition
- Adjustable gain — selectable 1x, 2x, 4x, and 8x amplification for flexible sensor scaling
- High-resolution conversion — 16-bit A/D with 24 A/D inputs (6 channels per converter)
- Mark VI integration — plug-in board for Mark VI/VIe racks with backplane power
- Redundancy support — configurable for simplex or TMR architectures
- Conformal coating — PCB protection for demanding turbine environments
- Rugged design — wide-temperature operation for continuous serviceAX Control Inc.Fujian Zhongchuanggao Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd.
Target Applications
- GE Speedtronic Mark VI / Mark VIe gas and steam turbine control systems
- Analog signal acquisition for combustion, temperature, and process monitoring
- Turbine control rack expansion and legacy IS200-series upgrades
- Spare-part replacement for power generation controls
