8312 is the 230VAC Power Supply Module manufactured by Triconex (Schneider Electric), designed for the classic Tricon TMR Fault-Tolerant Safety Instrumented System (SIS, Tricon v9～v11 platform).
It converts 230VAC input into stabilized 6.5VDC rack backplane power for main processors, I/O boards and communication modules inside the chassis. Two 8312 modules can be deployed in redundant mode; a single module alone can fully supply the whole chassis under rated load.
Important distinction of power module variants
- 8312: 230 VAC input version
- 8311: 24 VDC low voltage version
- 8310: 120 VAC variant
Not compatible with Tricon CX series 8120X chassis and cannot be interchanged with 8311.
