GE (General Electric) has introduced the IS400TCATHIACB, a Core Analog thermocouple input terminal board engineered for the Speedtronic™ Mark VIe gas and steam turbine control system. The board provides the physical termination and signal conditioning needed to interface field-mounted thermocouple sensors with the digital control environment AutoControl GlobalWorld of Controls.
As part of the Mark VIe Core Analog (TCA) I/O family, the board converts low-voltage millivolt signals from thermocouples into accurate temperature data, enabling precise monitoring of exhaust gas, bearing temperatures, and combustion performance — critical parameters for reliable turbine operation and protection AutoControl Global.
Key Features
- Thermocouple signal conditioning — accurate millivolt-to-temperature conversion for reliable thermal monitoring
- Mark VIe Core Analog architecture — pairs with Core Analog (PCAA) I/O packs, supporting simplex to TMR (triple modular redundant) configurations
- DIN-rail terminal board design — compact mounting for standard control cabinets, with barrier/box-type terminal blocks
- Direct retrofit — drop-in replacement for the legacy IS200TCATH1A terminal board
- Industrial-grade construction — manufactured in the USA for demanding power-generation environmentsXiamen ZheXun Electric Automation Co., Ltd.World of Controls
Target Applications
- GE Speedtronic Mark VIe gas and steam turbine control systems
- Exhaust temperature and combustion performance monitoring
- Bearing temperature and thermal protection channels
- Upgrade or replacement of legacy Mark VI turbine I/O terminal boards
